Press Release Summary: MHV Builds Office & High Tech Engineering Center to Handle Expected Growth
Press Release Body: Fennville, MI December 4, 2007--- Metallurgical High Vacuum Corporation has capped its recent growth success with a new 2400-sq. ft. building housing its advanced Engineering Design Center. It is equipped with the latest 3-D CAD systems that accommodate all vacuum pump and system engineering. Started in 1981 by President Geoff Humberstone, MHV now offers high quality vacuum pumps and process equipment from vacuum coating systems to chambers for thermal processing of metals. MHV also provides in-depth engineering, design, and services on a wide range of high-vacuum equipment, including remanufacturing of vacuum, booster, and diffusion pumps and blowers.
"Our customers are demanding of high quality, Geoff Humberstone noted, so we strive to respond quickly with the best solution whether it's a full rebuilding job or totally new pumps and equipment." Our professional staff includes metallurgists, engineers, and factory trained machinists and technicians who are able to remanufacture most brands and models of vacuum equipment. Our new line of rotary piston vacuum pumps is totally made in the USA with high quality motors and components built from the ground up for long service life."
"We engineer and manufacture replacements for many hard-to-get components from Kinney, Stokes, Leybold and other pumps to keep customer equipment in service longer and help keep their costs under control."
"We see a bright future in our business and are adding a new world-class MAZAK computerized machining center that will more than double our present capacity." notes Humberstone.
The MHV plant now occupies a climate-controlled 16,000-sq. ft. machining, assembly and testing facility on a 17-acre site near Fennville, Michigan. This factory features an 80 x 200-ft open bay with a 30-ft ceiling height and 10-ton overhead crane with access to the entire building. A 30- x 60-ft warehouse building holds cores and fixtures.
